Exploring Liverpool - Hope Street
Marked at either end by the cities two Cathedrals, Hope Street (also known as the Georgian Quarter) is a truly historic part of town that links the University Campus up with the rest of the City. There's some really great venues to try - check out our recommendations below.
Whether it's dinner or brunch, Papillon is a truly dreamy spot, and one of the most instagrammable locations in town! There's always some great people watching to be done from the outdoor seating area when the weather's right too.
One of the staples of the city-centre, the Quarter is a favourite to many. Delicious main meals, and a fabulous selection of Deli items, mean this is a great place to stop by or plot up for the afternoon.
Hidden away on Hardman Street, Buyers Club is a 'neighbourhood' bar and restaurant. Delicious food, drinks and a really chilled and warm atmosphere. The outdoor area is great too and overall this really is the definition of a hidden gem!
The Pen Factory is one of our favourites on Hope Street and offers spacious surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is eclectic but there's something for everyone - guaranteed to warm you up on an autumnal afternoon!
Despite being relatively new, this is one of three 92 degrees in the City Centre alone. They pride themselves on being Liverpool’s 1st Roastery & Coffee Shop, and the high quality drinks on offer prove they know what they're doing!

Last but not least is this super popular breakfast and brunch spot inspired by American breakfast culture and, in particular, the diners & delis of New York City. A visit here is a real treat and we can pretty much guarantee you'll be back again and again!
