Each Hall has a Manager and Deputy Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the buildings and the facilities. As with all staff in Halls, the Halls Managers and Deputy Halls Managers are there to support you in whatever way you need should you not be able to access your RA or Warden.
You can find out a little bit more about some of our Halls Managers below:
Jon Shields, Hall Manager at Vine Court and Melville Grove
I started my role with the University of Liverpool in January 2019. I had worked in the Hotel Industry from leaving education and wanted to have more involvement in pastoral care and mental health as well as working with people on a day to day basis. I am responsible for the day to day management of Vine Court and Melville Grove, managing over 30 team members across the two sites to provide support, development and guidance and to ensure the effective line management of staff. I also work alongside the pastoral support teams of the Warden and Residential Advisers on a daily basis.
I was born in Liverpool and want our students to experience all that is amazing about our city and what we have to offer from Arts and Culture to Music, Sport and the Nightlife. Enjoy your time here. Make as many friends as possible and look out for each other. Enjoy the moment of living independently in Liverpool!
Aga Weigel, Hall Manager at Crown Place
My name is Aga Wegiel and I have been a Hall Manager of Crown Place for the past 3 years. My team and I are here to help you with anything that concerns your stay in Crown Place and beyond. So if you have a question about your room, you want to collect a parcel or just looking for someone to chat with we are here for you. Best wishes to you on this new beginning.
Liz Stansfield, Hall Manager at Philharmonic Court, Dover Court and Tudor Close
I am your Hall Manager during your stay and my team and I are here to assist you with any issues you may encounter – just ask us. We want to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible. Best wishes for the coming year.
